Zebra Trail is a Travel & Tours/Safari Company based in Tanzania. We started the company after traveling extensively around the beautiful country of Tanzania. During plentiful visits, we have developed our desire for this wonderful country and decide to share our love, desire for Tanzania & Africa as well as the experience with other travelers.

We specialize in Tailor Made and Private Guided Safaris.

We are your representative during the design and organization of your custom-made safaris trip for Tanzania, we are entirely independent. This is why we do not navigate you to a specific area.

Out in the wilds of Tanzania Zebra Trail provide a fleet of custom-built Land Cruisers, renowned for being sturdy and adaptable, able to handle the roughest terrain, and reliable for an absolute essential. But with the right vehicles is just part of the story, because maintaining and servicing them is just as important when it comes to ensuring that our travellers can travel safely and securely out in the bush. Radios, heavy-duty wheels, first-aid kits, extra fuel tanks are all fitted for your safety; pop-up hatches, cushioned seats, armrests are provided for your comfort. Zebra Trail, we pride ourselves on the quality of the transport we provide – designed for your safety, designed for your comfort.

Before, during and after your chosen trip, Zebra Trail staff is here to help. Our experienced staff will suggest and advise, always remembering that it is your safari and, therefore, your choice. With our travellers being based all over the world, we know we have to ‘cross the time-zones’ and be available when you need us, to answer your queries when you’re planning your visit. And when you’re on your trip, our back-up staff is always available to help, in the unlikely event that you need some assistance, which your driver-guide cannot provide. 24/7 – help when you need it, that’s our philosophy.

TAILOR – MADE TOUR

For those who know what they want and how they want it, we are delighted to make it happen. Some of our travellers have been to Tanzania before. Choose the parks you want to visit, the accommodations you want to stay in, the length of time you want to stay. We’re always happy to advise on planning…but for those ‘in the know’ we also happy to let them do the planning, too. Just tell us what you want and we will deliver it, exactly as you require.

DAY TOUR

There’s a lifetime of adventures to see and enjoy here in Tanzania. We want you to stay as long as possible, to see as much as you can and soak up with the culture. But we appreciate that some people are just passing through, or visiting on business with little time to spare. At Zebra Trail, our Day Tours are designed to give busy people a chance to get an insight into Tanzania and its wildlife in a short time. Even if it’s only one day, we’ll make it one to remember.

SMALL GROUP TOUR

Zebra Trail have designed their Small Group Tours to show you the very best of Tanzania. And with never more than six travellers on safari trips and ten travellers on trekking trips, you’ll enjoy the wildlife in a truly intimate atmosphere. No big crowds, no big buses: just a few like-minded people to share the experience. We take you to the best parks, with our expert driver-guides finding you the finest spots for your wildlife photos, introducing you to the best of Tanzanian culture, and sharing their deep knowledge with you. On our Small Group Tours, our guides always have time to answer your questions.

SAFARI GUIDES & MOUNTAIN GUIDES

Driver-guides and mountain guides are crucial to the success of any safari. After all, these are the people who will spend every day with you, looking after your safety, your comfort, and your enjoyment. Zebra Trail guides are all highly trained, resourceful, and knowledgeable; they are all experts in their own field, whether it’s spotting wildlife or judging the weather conditions halfway up Kilimanjaro. But skills and knowledge are simply not enough to be a guide at our company. They must love showing our travelers the very best of Tanzania, always with courtesy, always with good humor and with your satisfaction as their main goal

VALUE

Zebra Trail believes in the value and our objective is to deliver it, to all our travellers, on every trip, no matter how long or short it might be, irrespective of which category you choose. Of course, ‘value’ is different to ‘price.’ We cannot guarantee that you won’t find a cheaper trip, but we would be very surprised if you found a trip that provides better value.
